Our mission

Legal Refugee Center is a non profit Organization registered in the United State of America under the Law of U.S.A by EIN: 92-3203623, The Corporation has been organized exclusively for charitable and benevolent purposes under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or any corresponding section of any future federal tax code.  Legal Refugee Center is registered also in Burundi, Tanzania registered No. I-NGO/R/7944 and South Africa registered No. 2024 / 482906 / 08 by assisting the Refugees and Asylum Seekers and support vulnerable host community in these countries for humanitarian aids. 

LRC is operating in Ghana, through a Local NGO called SAVE WOMEN AND CHILDREN FOUNDATION Registered No. CG092431224. We are working for Child protection and vulnerable widows in Ghana.

Our mission is to address the challenges facing refugees, children and women and most Vulnerable people through comprehensive and sustainable solution. We are committed to providing essential services, promoting protection and rights, fostering empowerment and gender equality.

The purpose of the Legal Refugee Center ( LRC ) is to:

•   Defend policies that embrace refugees;

•   Provide assistance to the refugees in humanitarian crises;

•   Protect vulnerable migrant women and children;

•   Provide legal assistance to refugees and ensure they have a reliable lawyer

and help them apply for immigration

•   Promote educational resources for refugees;

•  Promoting assistance to the physical and mental health of refugees

•  Socio-economic assistance of the poorest population.

LRC in SOUTH AFRICA assisting Refugees, it is registered as a non profit Organization under the Commissioner of Companies and Intellectual Property Commission, registration number : 2024 / 482906 / 08. We are based in coastal community of Muizenberg, Cape town. In Burundi and Tanzania, we render services to the refugee  according for their need. We are assisting for :

• Humanitarian crisis, 

• Child protection, 

• education, 

• Protection, 

• Psychosocial, 

• welfare and Empowerment.
